Couples seek help to improve emotional connection, intimacy, communication, and understanding.
Couples who may be engaged, dating, married, or otherwise partnered seek help to improve emotional connection, intimacy, communication, and understanding.
Working with a therapist in a safe and confidential setting, couples are able to explore how their individual interpersonal styles, backgrounds, beliefs, thoughts, family and relationship histories and behaviours may be affecting their relationship in both positive and negative ways. We can address any immediate and pressing problems, or crises first and work through these until we reach a place where emotions have settled enough to work on improving the long – term health of your relationship.
I support couples and families in times of significant life changes and circumstances such as: becoming parents for the first time, postpartum depression, returning to work after parental leave, workplace stress, parent – adolescent conflict, sexual deviance, criminal activity, infidelity and other relationship crises by developing collaborative treatment plans.
Strategies to advance communication, develop or fine – tune assertiveness, improve conflict resolution and simply liberate time to be together and enjoy each other are provided.
